ALL riders new to GEC must take an Intro lesson first, which provides education re safety, an orientation to the farm, and riding instruction/assesment.  There are two types of Intro Lessons available, one for people with formal riding experience and one for people without.

Pricing: 

• Intro lesson - $90 for 1, $160 for 2 - one hour - required for anyone new to GEC (exeption for those that have attended summer camp - they do not need to take an intro)
• Private Lesson - $80 - one hour
• Private Lesson, 30 minutes - $55 - best for students with shortened attention span or differently abled individuals
• Semi Private - $70 - one hour - this is when you sign up with someone else who also rides here to share a lesson - you need to be associated with each other in the system as 'friends'
• Group Lesson - $60 - one hour

Scheduling:

• When you first register, select a time under the 'Private' lesson headng, it will automatically make your lesson an Intro lesson
  • After your intro lesson, your instructor will assign you a grade (Beginner, Intermediate etc)
• Once the grade is assigned you can sign up for Private, Semi Private or Group lessons that are available on the calendar
• Note that riders that are complete beginners typically require a few private lessons before they can join a group
